Poject status: unbuilt
In collaboration with David Haber
Zempoala 268 is a small building of 4 levels, divided into 11 apartments. The main idea of this project is to assure the maximum privacy of every apartment. Blocks and patios are oriented transversal towards the terrain following a rhythm of void and mass. This rhythm allows each apartment to open towards a courtyard in one side while there is a blind wall at the other side. Through the whole building there is no case where one flat looks into another. Each floor is offset horizontally and small ceiling openings are created that provide a better natural illumination and cross ventilation.
